I’m a Project Co-ordination Consultant for independent museums and heritage sites.

At Siemens I worked across controls, tendering and project management spending 36 years tendering and planning the delivery of multi-million pound, world-wide contracts. I created the plans, collaborated with suppliers, fixed the problems before they became disasters, and reported progress to customers. That’s the discipline I bring. But for just as long I have been passionate about history and the legacy it can leave, especially the medieval history that I see in my hometown of Lincoln.

Too many heritage sites with real potential stall for the same reasons: limited delivery capacity, unclear timelines and no realistic plan for for after the grant. It’s rarely a lack of passion or ideas. It’s the absence of a plan put in place early enough.
